All students studying in Canada, including international students, must have basic medical insurance.  It is expected that all RRU students who are not actively covered by a provincial health plan will register with B.C.’s Medical Services Plan (MSP).  Due to the three-month waiting period that is required for all new MSP applicants, all  international students at  RRU will be required to enrol in RRU’s temporary health insurance program that provides basic coverage during this period.
